Tech giant, Amazon has announced the launch of its new intelligent assistant, Alexa+, an upgraded digital assistant incorporating generative AI technology. This enhancement results in more natural and intelligent conversations. Alexa+ comes with many benefits and user preferences, boasting powerful cross-platform capabilities, and making everyday tasks easier and more convenient.
Starting next month, Alexa+ will be available for early access in the US. The tool is free for Amazon Prime members, while non-members will pay $19.99. Users can access Alexa+ through a new mobile app (available for Android and iOS) and the web client at Alexa.com. Hardware support is currently limited to the Echo Show series, including 8, 10, 15, and 21-inch models.

Additionally, the new upgrade offers a dedicated children's experience with restrictions on certain activities to ensure safety.
Other new features include visual recognition capabilities. Alexa+ can identify ingredients via camera and provide corresponding recipes or order the necessary ingredients, making daily life more convenient. Users can simply speak, and Alexa+ automatically executes multi-step actions.
