Mistral AI Unveils Free Basic Chatbot App 'Le Chat’
The "Le Chat" chatbot application launched by Mistral AI is now available to users.
Mistral AI has joined the growing list of AI companies launching applications to enhance user experience. Recently, the artificial intelligence company headquartered in France launched a brand new chatbot application called "Le Chat" on the Apple App Store. This application has several interesting features, allowing users to easily engage in natural language conversations and perform real-time web searches. Users can also use the application to analyze documents and generate images, among other features.
Le Chat is available to users who can download the basic version for free, giving them access to essential chat functions. Also, users can opt for a Pro subscription at $14.99 per month, allowing them to access and experience more advanced models.
Mistral was founded by several engineers who previously worked at Google and Meta. The company largely focuses on developing open-source large language models, and "Le Chat" was built as an independent application to provide users with a convenient AI chat experience. While "Le Chat" was initially available on the web, this newly launched mobile application is based on the browser client. It currently supports only iPhone and iPad, with no support for macOS systems or Android.
The "Le Chat" application boasts functionality described as 'highly practical,' allowing users to communicate in natural language, and the AI capable of understanding and generating relevant responses. Furthermore, real-time web searches enable users to quickly access the information they need. The document analysis and image generation features provide a rich text and visual experience.
